Tilligerry entered 2 B grade teams and 5 C grade teams, 3 of which only played in the final Round. Our B Grade team of Janet & Peter Kieran, Margaret Sylow and Evon Williams came from behind to win the shield by 3 points. This is the second year this team has won the shield. Congratulations to those players! </div> <div> Our C Grade team of Mike Skelton, Lesley Phillips, Mary Kay and Pat Healey, came second overall in the competition which was a great result. Well done to them also. </div> <div> This, once again is a great result from our small club!</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 76 ><NOBR><div> October '07</div> </NOBR></tD> <tD VALIGN=TOP WIDTH="768"><div> Our club once again entered in the Australia-Wide Spring Pairs and out of 1900 pairs our club had 2 pairs in the top 25. Margaret Sylow and Evon Williams came 21st with and average of 68.45 and Jill Mogford-Jensen and Trevor Saunders came in 24th. This was a great effort from our small club. Well done to those pairs!</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 131 WIDTH="95"><div> July '07</div> </tD> <tD VALIGN=TOP WIDTH="768"><div> The Annual General Meeting of the club was held at office bearers for 2007/2008 were elected as below:</div> <div> President: Janet Kieran</div> <div> Vice-President: Fae Skelton</div> <div> Secretary: Evon Williams</div> <div> Treasurer: Pat Healey</div> <div> Committee members: Brian Brett, Laurel Hall, Phillip Carter and Mike Cleary</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 95 ><NOBR><div> August '06</div> </NOBR></tD> <tD VALIGN=TOP WIDTH="768"><div> The club hosted the <A HREF="country_teams_2006.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Country Teams 2006">Country Teams 2006, Regional Finals</A><A HREF="country_teams_2006.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Country Teams 2006"> </A>on August 26.</div> <div> Tilligerry team 1 - Janet and Peter Kieran/Margaret Sylow/Evon Williams - were the outright winners of the competition and will now go forward with other qualifying teams to play in the Country Final to be held in Tamworth on October 28/29, 2006.</div> <bR> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 38 WIDTH="95"><div> May '06</div> </tD> <tD VALIGN=TOP WIDTH="768"><div> <A HREF="sally_and_clare.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Sally and Clare">Sally Robinson and Clare Tunbridge</A> won the Restricted Pairs event at the Port Stephens Bridge Club - congratulations</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 170 WIDTH="95"><div> Mar '06</div> </tD> <tD VALIGN=TOP WIDTH="768"><div> Three teams from Tilligerry Bridge Club took part in round 1 of the 2006 Hunter Teams competition held in Newcastle on Saturday, 25 March.</div> <div> J anet and Peter Kieran and Margaret Sylow and Evon Williams finished in second place in B Grade.</div> <div> In C Grade, our two teams were placed third and fifth.</div> <div> Lesley Phillips/Michael Skelton with Mary Kay/Pat Healey.</div> <div> Trevor Saunders/Jill Mogford-Jensen with Sally Robinson/Claire Tunbridge.</div> <div> A strong result for the club and we now look forward to rounds 2 and 3 of the competition to be held later in the year. </div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 57 WIDTH="95"><div> Dec '05</div> </tD> <tD VALIGN=TOP WIDTH="768"><div> The club Christmas Party was held on December 21. Our first team - Janet and Peter Kieran and Margaret Sylow and Evon Williams were placed 6th in the competition. The top two teams from the Regional Final go forward to the National Final to be held in Tweed Heads at 18 - 20 November. As the team that was placed second is unable to attend the finals, an alternate team was sought and the Tilligerry Team will now represent the Hunter Region in this event.</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 57 WIDTH="95"><div> Sept '05</div> </tD> <tD VALIGN=TOP WIDTH="768"><div> Mike and Fae Skelton attended Paul Marston's bridge holiday week in Noosa between 29 August and 03 September.
